Understanding College Testing Policies

College testing requirements can be confusing, particularly during this global pandemic. For transparency's sake, we want you to know that we fully support the test-optional and test-blind policies that are currently being implemented at thousands of colleges across the USA. We don't believe that a test score earned during a four hour exam on a random Saturday accurately reflects a student's ability to succeed in college (and neither does the research--see here, here, and here).


We're here to break down what different policies and terms actually mean, and how that may impact college applications.
